Duration: 6 month contract to hire



Notes:

Primarily looking for folks with power BI and it's nice to have alteryx, tableau, qilkview, focus.
But most importantly, Power BI stack is a Must
They must know data warehousing and they use Oracle AEW
Communicate if the "mix" of technologies aren't prevalent.
Getting that into a symantec model for Power BI Reports and Dashboards.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities Summary
--- Establishing and leading a high-performing data and analytics team to deliver actionable insights.
--- Collaborating with stakeholders to advance data-driven initiatives and empower self-service analytics.
--- Streamlining and automating reporting processes within Operational Finance to reduce manual effort and ensure security.
--- Rationalizing and optimizing data and analytics platforms, driving adoption of Oracle ADW and Power BI.
--- Designing solutions to meet diverse analytics needs, from dashboards to advanced data science models.
--- Other duties, as assigned.

This role will be at the forefront of transforming how data is leveraged across the organization, enabling smarter decisions, improving efficiencies, and driving meaningful business outcomes

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Data and Analytics:
--- 10+ years of experience in Business Analytics.
--- 5+ years of experience managing technology teams.
--- Demonstrated ability to design and implement end-to-end data and analytics solutions that meet diverse user needs, including dashboards, prepared reports, and ad hoc analytics.
--- Skilled in collaborating across functions to align technology and business goals.

Technical Expertise
--- Strong experience in processes, technologies, and techniques in ETL/ELT from ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS, and other enterprise solutions (on-premise, cloud, and SaaS).
--- Proficiency in developing data models, pipelines, and orchestration using tools like Alteryx and Power BI. Experience building data pipelines on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
--- Proven ability to build analytics and reporting solutions using visualization tools such as Power BI, MS Excel, and Tableau.

Strategic Thinking
--- Ability to design scalable, efficient data architectures and integrate data governance practices into reporting and analytics workflows.
--- Track record of optimizing reporting processes to enhance efficiency, reduce redundancy, and maintain data security.

Business Acumen
--- Strong ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions with measurable outcomes.
--- Effective communicator, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
