Schedule: Full Time Shift : Days Location : AdventHealth Daytona Beach The role you'll contribute: The nurse manager is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating the management & clinical practice activities for the nursing unit(s) under his/her charge. He/she assumes 24-hour accountability for the CVOR and anesthesia departments for optimum quality patient care is delivered and staff is developed to exert care in a professional and caring manner. May be required to take call for the department. The value you'll bring to the team:
  • Responsible for managing all personnel on nursing unit(s).

  • Ensure that Quality Patient Care is provided on units
  • Prepares, analyzes, reviews and monitors operational and capital budgets for assigned unit(s).
  • Coordinates and promotes Performance Improvement plan in unit.
  • Promotes Balanced Scorecard.
  • Promotes customer satisfaction within unit.
  • Communicates effectively with staff.
  • Represents the Philosophy of Nursing and Administration.
  • Participates in ongoing educational activities for Specialty area as well as management seminars. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
    • Current Florida RN License required
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing required
    • Three (3) years of management experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room required
    • Five (5) years of nursing experience required with demonstrated leadership and management ability preferred.
    • MSN preferred
    • CNOR preferred, must be obtained within 6 months of hire
    • Demonstrates proficient use of English language in verbal and written form.
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements.
