Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Review Clinician -
Behavioral Health.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure
medical appropriateness
Perform prior authorization reviews and concurrent reviews of
behavioral health inpatient care
Provide education to providers and engage with healthcare teams to
improve care quality
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or
related field, or a Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related
experience
Active and unrestricted license: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LPCC for Texas
or California
Prior managed care experience preferred
Clinical knowledge related to treatment plans for mental health and
substance abuse
Experience working with providers and healthcare teams
