Job Description:
A company is looking for a Master Patient Index Specialist to
ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Master Patient Index
(MPI).
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the integrity of the computerized Master
Patient Index (MPI)
Perform data analysis to identify and resolve duplicate/multiple
patient files
Investigate and correct errors related to patient contact moves and
demographic information
Required Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent experience
2 years of health information management (HIM) experience
MS Office experience
Proficient with Epic
CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) certification within
9 months of hire
